The Expedition has reached the halfway point, and all is well. We’re in Twillingate, Newfoundland right now, which is the self-proclaimed Iceberg Capital of the World. It’s also unfortunately the Foggy, Cold and Shitty Weather capital of the world too.
The Iceberg boat tour was canceled for today (our one day off) so we’re going to try again for tomorrow. Then it’s 400 miles of high sped flying on Route One through Newfoundland’s beautiful heartland, with any luck catching the ferry back to Nova Scotia tomorrow, riding the beautiful the Cabot Trail, more lobster Halifax, the still-secret Lighthouse Trail in Nova Scotia, then the long slog back home, and back to reality.
The entire Expedition story will follow shortly after we return.
