Congratulations!!

After a lifetime of being slaves to ‘The Man’ my parents have decided enough is enough, and have embarked on a new life adventure, one without a schedule, a boss, or all the ass-kissing that us working folks have to deal with. As of January, Mr. and Mrs. Frenchy (Senior… Very, Very Senior) are officially retired.

Mom and Dad’s first official act as retired folks was to start spending my inheritance. For the next three months (or longer) the new snowbirds will be leaving the Frozen Kingdom of Rhode Island, and heading for the warmer climate of Virginia Beach, where they’ll enjoy discounts on coffee and movies. And spending lots and lots of time together.

Good luck with that, Mom!

I am proud of my parents, the people that taught me so much, molded me into the person I am, grudgingly accepted me back in the ‘Long Hair’ days, drove me and my drums to shows when I was too young to drive myself, and most important of all, taught me how to use the toilet, among countless other things. For their support and love throughout my life, I’ll be eternally grateful and appreciative.

Congratulations, Mom and Dad! Thanks for everything, spend every cent of the inheritance, and enjoy a lifetime of Best Days Ever!

That’s awesome!! I hope they spend every dime. (Sorry Frenchy…) Since most of our generation will NEVER be able to retire, its nice to see someone who has made the milestone.
