Hmm…. With such a low comment rate, maybe I should just retire this stupid blog after all??

   Well Mitch,

   I thought about the consequences of ‘ending’ the Rant too, for about ten seconds. My conclusion? If my next-to-nothing traffic drops off, it’s still next-to-nothing… so I felt I really didn’t have much to lose. I mean calling my ‘readers’ the ‘Faithful Fourteen’ works just as well as the ‘Faithful Fifteen’ does. On the other hand, doing something clever as an April Fool’s joke and boosting traffic stratospherically brings a whole host of new pressures, including having to write more blogs, and then having to make them good and clever somehow.

   Who needs that pressure? Strive for mediocrity, I always say.

   But it sounds like you know what you are doing. Good luck to you keeping all those new readers, you’re really in the hot seat now.

   I thought it might be a “fool”, but there wasn’t much of a hint that it was. I’ve talked to a few people who tried the same joke on the first and their traffic just dropped.

   I didn’t want to go that direction on the first, as you know, I actually boosted my traffic stratospheric.

   I’m glad to see that you didn’t go away. Dave sent me your pics from the last show, very cool, thanks.
