Welcome – Bienvenue – to New Hampshire. Live Free or Die. Bunch of savage outlaws live here for free.
Welcome to Massachusetts. Buckle up and live longer, it’s the LAW. Why not move to New Hampshire and live free?
Maybe because Massachusetts is the home of Red Sox Nation?
Keeping an eye out for those grooving shoulders. Don’t want to end up like the groovy guy on the sign.
Welcome to Vermont. State Motto: Our sign is small because we don’t care if you know you’re here.

Everywhere you look in Vermont, the view is spectacular. They don’t need a big sign at the border, when you’re in Vermont, you’ll know it.
The view from the restaurant I stopped at. Between two ugly houses, a beautiful rolling meadow.
On the way to get my first of two National Parks Passport stamps – at the Saint-Gaudens National Historic Site. Still trying to find a chrome GPS.

More covered bridges. Stormbringer is attracted to them I think. The bridge spans the Connecticut River, which of course defines the border between New Hampshire and Vermont.
Live Free or Die, but walk your horse or pay a fine.
On the way to get stamp number two – Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historic Park, basically a farm, and the only official National Parks Passport stamp in Vermont.

The cows ham it up for the camera.

Wouldn’t be a ‘Stormbringer’ ride without rain, in this case a ten minute downpour – just enough to soak everything.
One of the best restaurants in the world. The French Dip and French fries are highly recommended.
