Signs

From the audience at RAW last night:

Who says WWE fans aren’t sensitive?

(Thanks to Faithful Fifteen readers Dave and Tina for this post, since, as Dave so eloquently put it; “I don’t know what the hell to write anymore!”)

Baja Delayed

Baja Delayed

Looks like my Baja motorcycle trip will be delayed until the fall. My original plan was to ride from May 24th to the 27th. Plenty of research went into the trip, routes to take, sites to see, ect. But as they say, the best laid plans…

According to a Baja “expert” I emailed today:

Well, I have both good and bad news for you.

First, the good. May is a great time to travel in Baja. Great weather & wonderful hospitality abound just about anywhere you go.

Now the bad part, you’ve chosen the week before the Baja 500 off road race.

Northern Baja is over run with racers and pre-runners at that time. In my opinion that is a very dangerous time to be off roading around Baja. The official race course is marked and not only are the racers out practicing but so are the yahoos who wish they could race.

The hotels fill up, the gas stations run out of gas, the restaurants run out of food, and they never have enough staff for the demand. Basically, during a big event or just before is probably the worst time to plan a trip to Baja.

Leave it to me to pick the worst time to plan a trip to Baja. No rooms, no food or fuel (and most likely no beer) means no Baja until the fall.

But wait a minute…. The Baja 1000 race is in the fall. No doubt another “worst time”, but I DO wish I could race the Baja 1000… Yahoooooooo!!!!

Big Time

Big Time

Wrestlemania, our biggest PPV of the year, is live tonight from Chicago. And by some small miracle, our TV truck isn’t parked next to the dumpsters. It’s usually easy to find our TV truck, just follow your nose.

Not today, this is the BIG TIME! There’s nothing that could distract us today!

Being across the street from one of the busiest runways in the world shouldn’t distract us too much…

Blogging = Working Out

Blogging = Working Out

The nice thing about a blog is when you have something great, or stupid, or interesting (or not) to write about, you can just sit down and hack it out. Boom! There it is, and the Faithful Fifteen might read it, and some might even enjoy it.

But, it’s similar to self-torturing yourself at the gym. Skip one day, and it’s really easy to not go back.

And to be honest, it seems like the same day is happening over and over and over again. Life right now is like the movie Groundhog Day… (and by the way, DAMN YOU PHIL!!!)

For example, a recent flight to Chicago was supposed to take fifty minutes, but with every announcement from the pilot, the flight duration doubled. Three hours later we were still in orbit above Windy City.

Again.

It’s not funny, it’s actually pretty sad.
