Abi went shopping earlier today. Instead of a signature, the back of his credit card says “See ID” , so that cashiers will check his identification as well. Kinda paranoid if you ask me, but nobody asked.

Anyway, the cashier hands him the receipt, which Abi signs. Then, he looks at the back of the credit card, and stops.

“Sir, this signature does not match the one on the card.”

“I know,” Abi replied, “It says See ID so that you check my ID card. My signature is right here on my ID – see?”

“Sir, the signature does not match, I will have to get my manager.”

The manager arrives, and after a minute voids the transaction. Then he re-runs the card and asks Abi to sign the new receipt with the signature “See ID”.
