I took the Hayabusa out for a 100 mile blast on Saturday. Followed some great back roads, twisting around until I was very lost deep in Connecticut. It was a great day, just warm enough to not be cold while riding.
When I finally found my way back home, my left arm was sore from constantly working the clutch. Yeah, a winter of almost complete inactivity has given me the muscle tone of a marshmallow.
Later that day, I picked up a “Stress Ball“, a little gel filled thing that I can keep in my pocket and squeeze during the day to try to strengthen my flabby marshmallow muscles, to try and get them ready for another season of riding.
To be honest, this “Stress Ball” is kinda like having a little fake silicone boob in my pocket that I can squeeze whenever I want.
Working out has never been so much fun!
Hey little buddy,
Five weeks from your chicken-shit shadow sighting stunt, and riding season in Rhode Island is officially underway.

Nice try, you little rat. Try a little harder next year, OK?
I’ve found it! The next motorcycle to add to my collection!
It’s a little redneck-ish, but still…

Yes, it is a motorized beer cooler! What a blast! Need a cold beer in a hurry? Be right there!! Pull into the nearest beer store, and say “Fill ‘er up!”
Any day that I can ride around a parking lot on a motorized beer cooler is a good day in my book! Oh yeah! I wonder if I could make it through Baja on this?
We’re in Birmingham, Alabama today for RAW. Birmingham is a great place, always warm, with friendly people and good food.
The downside? I believe the literacy rate is fairly low.
The last time we were here, I proudly wore a Guinness T-Shirt. I noticed one of the local riggers intently staring at it, trying to decipher it’s meaning. It took him a few long minutes to compute.
With a puzzled look, he finally said, “Y’all a genius, huh?”
Yup. You too, huh?
